AAPS News May 2015 – Involuntary Servitude

Is there no constitutional protection? The Thirteenth Amendment, after all, goes farther than abolishing slavery, under which human beings are property that can be bought and sold:

“Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”
